Today is Art Walk, in the local Downtown area. We don't have any skyscrapers yet, but there are plenty of lovely homeless for me to interact with.
I am sort of like a bug zapper, or maybe just a porch light bulb. Attracting the blind and light sensitive folk around me where ever i go. Before i leave this town, i want to be know for crafting with the homeless. They have so much time, why not teach them how to piece patchwork and host improtu quilting bee's in the middle of the night, round some sappy street light.
Oh boy. I can visualize that. Hmm. Gears are turning.
But alas, i must start getting ready. It's like a gypsy day, i pack the wares into the little Volkswagen and set up camp on the sidewalk. Except today requires extra planning, seeing as it's not even noon yet and already 90 degrees.
Difference, i'll be wearing less clothes, and stationed under an umbrella i'm rigging up (taping to a dress form stand).
Sounds lovely. Then i'll be sitting, for hours, letting silver cross my palm and hopefully making some headway on my Fighter plane embroidery.
