Marvelous Mondays

Now that I work for myself full time, I have the freedom to make Monday like a Sunday. I sleep. But get up before noon so that I might enjoy cool morning hours while I sip coffee and browse the Internet. I like to spend the whole day in the studio. A little sewing, a little cleaning, then more sewing.

Yesterday was the first full day in the studio in about a week I think.
It was a marvelous Monday.

I like to listen to Pat Sloan's pod casts featuring interviews with various names in the sewing world. You can listen to past episodes (found here), but yesterday I listened to her show live! Another perk of not having to be at work on a Monday!

The afternoon included some new quilt label test printing, tiny 2 inch square cutting (for May's 365 blocks) and some relaxing hand stitching progress on the flying fish Mola. All in all a wonderful day!
